#1 I think that one guy that was crawling out of the building was the person who started the fire, and the guy who ran in to nancy drew's car was the helper.
#2 The setting of the story started at the carnival, then well they were when they were on they way back from the carnival when it was over they stopped to look at a house, then in seconds it got on fire, they stayed and tryed to help if people were trapped, there was no one there (but the fire men came) Then on there way back aguy crashed in to them and had to go to the repair shop.
It reminds me of going to the carnival with my mom, and when we went on rides.
Extra Comments: i did not really get the book so far.

#1 My favorit character is nancy drew because she allways nows what to do when it comes to myssitery. My least favorit character is the person who ran in to nancy drews car.
#2 My favorite character is Nancy Drew because she comes up great ideas and gets involved with crazy situations and she can keep you guessing. My least favorite person is the man who Nancy seened crawling from behind the bush because he can be guilty of the fire of the foxy felix's house.
Extra Comments: Mrs. Rowe: Camile, can you explain to me what you mean by always knowing what to do in a mystery. Also, tell me more about this person who ran into Nancy's car.

#1 It all started after the fire. nancy drew and her two friends saw that person faint because she felt sick. they ate lunch. back to the bigginging... like after the fire she found the diary ned found the ring and other cluse. after they had the feast with the swensens she stayed behind to find out more about mrs. swensens husbend.
#2 First is when Nancy, Bess and Geoge were driving, they stopped to look at a house, but then it quickly got on fire. When Nancy was investigating she found a man crawling behind a bush then running away, soon emeralds starting flying . After seeing that she found a diary near the scene. When she came back to where everybody was and her car, then she seen someone driving away with her car. the man came to a stop and seen her and said that he wanted to get the car out of the danger zone and hes name was Ned Nickerson. When the firemen took over she left, there was traffic and while Nancy was driving, a car crashed into her. The only damage was the back of the trunk. The man got out and said that he was sorry and that he'd pay for the repairs. Nancy accepted and kept driving. When the group went back home, Nancy got a call from Ned and he found a ring from the fire. Nancy said that he could come over so they could look at the ring and he could have dinner. The next night when Ned came, they saw that it had a D on it and there was a Swedish saying in there. Nancy looked through the diary and saw that it was all in Swedish and she couldn't see what it said. In the last few pages there were English words cramped. She visited the Swensons and found more about her husbend and how his an inventor. When she left her dad said he found about the owner of the house which got on fire but he only got hold of the his wife. Nancy meet her but she seemed ill and fainted, when she got better sha told her, her husbend was in the fire.

#1 This book remindes me kind of like the movie kit the american girl doll. Not with the myistery but kit is not afraid to say what she feels and she is not afraid to stand up for her self and her friensd like nancy drew. It also remindes me of the other nancy drew books like they are all very simaller.
#2 The book reminds of the time I went to the carnival like nancy and her friends did. We went on alot of rides with my friends and good food just like Nancy did when she meet the Swenson's.

#1 The most actioned part is when that guy who was cutting trees tould them that they wen tot the shack and the guy who they think is mr. reybolt had a shotgun in his hand and said leave now!
#2 The most action pact part is when nancy Drews dad told her that they seen a shaggy person in the gas station and thought it was mr. Felix in disguisse. That meant that he did'nt die in the fire and mr. Swenson was accused of burning the house because he was last seen. My predition is that, since Mr. felix set a appoinment with Mr Swenson, is so he could start the house on fire to accuse Joe Swenson of starting it . Since he stole peoples inventions and put his name on them, he though he may have to confess to it, but if he was'ent alive he didnt have to, so he went to hiding.
